  • Successful SOPHIA symposium at ICO 2024 in São Paulo

    On 26 June, SOPHIA presented their latest research to a full auditorium at the International Congress on Obesity (ICO) in São Paulo, Brazil. "We had to redefine how we think about obesity," said SOPHIA coordinator Carel Le Roux about the results of SOPHIA, predictors of risk and response, obesity in those with T1D and the patient perspective.

  • Successful SOPHIA Symposium at ECO 2024 in Venice

    On May 14th, the SOPHIA project presented its first major symposium to a packed auditorium at the European Congress on Obesity (ECO) in Venice, Italy. We demonstrated how our major findings support obesity as a complex, multifactorial disease and the future value of improving patient care.
